Mission
Statement: Assistance
League of Tucson is an all volunteer philanthropic
organization that provides essential goods and services
to disadvantaged men, women, and children in the greater
Tucson area. We are a chapter of National
Assistance League®
which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the
promotion of volunteerism through leadership training
and education.
Assistance League made a difference in the
Tucson community this year through our programs. To learn more about our

Operation
School Bell®
Assistance League of Tucson
volunteers dressed more than 3,400 children at a
cost of $70 a child. Since the
program's inception in 1994 we have provided new
clothes to more
than 34,000 children.
Starting
Over Supplies Assistance League of Tucson volunteers
have provided kits
containing basic household goods and necessities to 1,300 clients, who
are starting life anew, at a cost of $140 per kit.
Assault
Survivors Kits®
Assistance League of Tucson volunteers put together
kits which cost approximately $25 and contain
clothing and toiletries. These kits are
provided to sexual assault victims when their
clothing is kept as evidence.
Assisteens®
Auxiliary
Assisteens' main philanthropic program is
titled "Assisteens Helping Tucson Teens."
They also support our philanthropic programs.
P.A.W.S.
(Professional Association of Women's Services)
Auxiliary Assistance League
of Tucson's P.A.W.S. Auxiliary volunteers packed and
dispersed 250
Groom for Success kits for homeless, disadvantaged
teens valued at $35 per kit. At a cost of $7
per bear, they provided 1,500 brand new Teddy bears
to emergency responders to give to children in crisis situations.
