Assistance League Thrift shop sells quality,
gently used and new merchandise to
provide funding for our community philanthropic programs. Items accepted for
resale include adults' and children's clothing, furniture, household
items, sports equipment, antiques, collectibles, linens, small
appliances, jewelry, books, toys, tools and seasonal items. Local
retailers such as Maya Palace, Rose Petal and Big Lots donate new
merchandise to the shop.
In 1968, Assistance League
opened a small gift shop to help fund our first philanthropic program.
As our philanthropic programs have grown, the shop has evolved into a
major source of funding for our expanded services.
Assistance League is an all-volunteer organization. Our members
contribute more than 15,000 hours each year to keep Assistance League
Thrift Shop
stocked and staffed.
